This was due like a week ago...I think. But anyway this blog will be about the River City Writers Readings. When I first heard that we were assigned to go to readings I thought of NAP TIME!! However, when I finally went to to a RCWS reading, I found it to be quite intriguing and interesting. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
The two RCWS readings that I attended both we're for Christine Keneally, Josh Prager and Stacy Sullivan. My favorite author out of those three was Stacy Sullivan. I think I liked Stacy's reading alot more because, hers seemed more realistic and unerving to me. Although all of the books are based on realistic events, I couldn't get into their stories. I think the reason the I could not get into Christine's reading was because I am really not interested in the evolution of language. I mean it is an intersting topic but personally I could really care less. I kind of liked Josh's story only because it was kind of humorous. I am really not into baseball and I did not have any idea who he was talking about in the story.
